4wd at silverstone this weekend
 

is there an open class I can run lipo in as I've just got me a b44 and I wanna get to grips with it I dont care about points or placings although some lap timings would be nice :)

there will probably be a couple of guys from outside the region racing, so they would need a seperate final anyway. Hopefully if a couple of locals turn up with 2wds then you could all go in a heat together. GPS1 will hopefully give us the official verdict.

so do I need to book in for the non reigonal round, do silverstone allow lipos ?

Me and Tony are booked in, Louis will race if they have a non regional/2wd heat.

Mobile Chicane, there appears to be no-where to book in as a out of region, but as long as you tell race controll before the start of the day that you are a non points scorer you should be ok. (thats how its worked before anyway)
You will be in a seperate final though with the other non points scorers.

i'd book in on the dms site anyway Giles, and just make sure you tell them when you arrive that you are lipo etc so they put you seperate.

thats what we did and intend to do.:)

cool just booked in on the dms site, I'll let them know when I get to site about my lipo.

I did have a bash at getting my ib4200s to take some charge last night but all 4 packs were gutless and peaked way to early even after matching on my smart tray :(

just tried to book in again and it said my brca number was wrong :confused:


its deffo the one on my brca card and the card is 11/07 to 12/08.

probably a glitch in the matrix ( I did see a black cat wandering about when I was booking in :woot: ).

just tried again and its fine now weird still I'm booked in now.

You are indeed now on there, if you enter someone else pre-entered BRCA number it will refuse your entry, this is probably what you did.
Try out the cool Mid South map for directions etc

Giles, watch out for the double speed cameras on the A43 near Syresham, just south of Silverstone, 70mph

Going north, come off the A43 for Silverstone village, turn left into West End, at the end of West End turn right into Church Street, on your left is the Social/Sports club, in thro metal gates, round to the left and round the edge of the cricket pitch to the track at the bottom. Toilets & beer in the social club...........
