I had tried gettin acetone but couldn't get any near me. boiling also didn't work so I was getting frustrated. Then I read about baking them and gave it a bash on Thursday and it worked so well I was shocked.

150c for 10mins and then holding the wheels with mits they basically just peeled off, with no damage to rim/tyre/foam. It was literally the easiest thing I've ever done with RC stuff.

obvs if you do try this make sure you take the correct precautions in saftey and permission :)

I use the "Tesco Value" range of nail varnish remover.
Leave wheels to soak for a day or 2 and the glue just falls off.

Boiling works perfectly.
put the wheels in a pan of boiling water on a high heat fully submerged (important, use weight) leave for 30-40 mins, roll the wheel and glue all cracks off, then simply remove tyre easily

Yeah, if you tryed boiling them and they didnt come off, its cause you didnt boil for long enough. you should be able to smell the glue melting

so....

so boiling for longer?? it wont bother the rims?

I have acetone, but boiling works better. Need to boil them for at least 10 minutes usually. 15 minutes for stubborn ones. Then just pull them off... but make sure you wear gloves, hot water will pour out of the foams.

No damage to rims. Another key point . Don't do white and yellow wheels together otherwise your white wheels will turn an off white yellow colour
