We think Lee may have decided he didnt like his car by the end of the day though because in the A final the car kept going along the straight into the metal post holding the plastic fencing up.

WOW BFag is gonna be well impressed with you lee...

jimmy 16-06-2008 12:57 PM

I think he might have had a mechanical failure which kepting going straight - but the shell was class :)

Lee 16-06-2008 12:59 PM

The car was good all day, i think the shell made the difference, i used expensive marker pens so therefore they are better and make the car faster.

I really wish the steering hadn`t of died going into that sweeper flat out :lol:

blue spoked wheels would have sorted your problem out lee then you would have beat mr lowe :), can you beat mr lowe  he once dreamt of racing at golfland but hopes he doesnt lose 50lb :( if you go to reo you have to sweep the floor ( the cheek of it ) but its worth it for a baconator

Awesome  I think you could shift these by the hundreds if you started making them up for various cars, B44's and 501x's would go like hotcakes to the US :woot:

Wasn't it your turnbuckle that came off?

Lee 16-06-2008 04:41 PM

Yup the stud decided to remove itself on the straight, the first thing i knew was the car hitting the fence

Chris, sharpies are only quick on dirt, this was a grass track, we opted for a standard uk marker pen.

I was going to draw some flames on the bad boy but i didnt want to make it look crap:lol::thumbsup:

The looks i got from some of the spectators at the track were odd, those who didnt know what was going on just looked at it and probably laughed at me. It was very embarrassing to walk round with
