WRCCGP 13 (GT12) Open Meeting: Wycombe Radio Car Club - re-scheduled 23rd March 2013

Wycombe Radio Car Club would like to announce WRCCGP 13. Last year was great fun, this year we are concentrating on the big growth class - GT12. It is to be held on the 23rd March....re-scheduled from January because of snow postponing the event...

For those that don't know this is very similar to our current Saturday classes. So Mardave V12, CEC and Schumacher Superstox powered by G2/4-cell Nimh or 13.5T brushless (blinky) and 1S.

Rules Summary:

As per the BRCA GT12 rules – available www.brca.org
Mardave V12,CE, CEC or Schumacher SuperStox chassis
Brushed: G2/4-cell
Brushless: 13.5/1S in blinky mode
Bodyshell: GT preferred but any Kamtec/Mardave shell for this meeting
Diffs permitted
Additive permitted

Details:

Doors open at 09:30am. (Note later than normal opening time)
Racing to start at 10:30am.

Concours competition.
3 heats of qualifying and finals (2-legs)
Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in the A final and 1st in any other final.
Trophy for best junior also provided.

This is a great chance to sample our new carpet which is to be freshly laid over Christmas.
Also for those people getting ready for the 2013 Hot Rod season. You cars are legal! So come and have a go at turning left and right!!

Also..

A quick note to say the GT12 rules regarding EB List cells and motors will be relaxed for this meeting.

So if you want to race with what you have - great come along.

Just needs to be 1S and 13.5.
Or...4-cell Nimh with brushed G2.

This is at my local club. I cut my teeth racing Mardaves here many moons ago. Great facility and a perfect track for GT12!

To confirm. Additive will not be permitted at this event.

Hi, we are going to postpone WRCC GP this weekend. More snow coming on Sunday and we will get stuck in Wycombe. Too hilly..car park is like an ice rink so very dangerous.. I will re-arrange for another date.. Sorry but Wycombe is not the place to be when it snows!
