Schumacher's New CAT K1 Competition 1/10th 4WD is coming soon...

The CAT K1 is an ultra modern, 1/10th scale, 4WD, Electric Powered buggy which continues the race winning tradition of Schumachers legendary CAT ‘Competition All Terrain’ vehicles.

Very low COG ! Center drive shafts ? Unless they have photoshoped the side window ;)

TARTMAN 27-11-2012 04:50 PM

awsome

:Dthought it would be a new Cat due to the price drop on the sx3, but, amazed there telling beforte xmas, thoiught a clear out of the sx3 would be better 1st. oh well.

looks great.......... but will it be all new or a revamp.... hard to tell from that pic, but does look lower etc.....

Benh 27-11-2012 05:30 PM

Ooh - it must be that time for wild speculation.

Let's try - no drive shafts - they have a clever patented magnet-drive system that can be increased and decreased in power creating a near infinite slip adjustment. Although, likely to be overshadowed by the shock mounted shock towers. Revolutionary.

racingdwarf 27-11-2012 05:50 PM

Hmm how good do you feel if you have just bought a price drop sx3!

another nasty schumacher......I just love em:p

if it came with black shiny wheels, retro cat sweet

neiloliver 27-11-2012 07:04 PM

I have it on good authority that the new cat is chain driven.

SlowOne 27-11-2012 08:16 PM

Is that legal? From the 10th Off-Road Rules...

22.1 Cars entered for Off Road competitions will be reasonable representations of full size cars generally accepted as being suitable for Rallycross, Rallying, Trail and Desert races.

Can someone find me that full-size car that was used to make that 'reasonable representation'? Just a thought.... ...and that it looks pug-ugly!! :D

tisher 27-11-2012 10:15 PM

if they every bring one out none belt driven I would have one love schumacher just dont like belts:woot:
