Great customer support at Horizon Hobby
 
I just want to say that Horizon Hobby cares.

My Cr kit had some screws with malformed threads which also destroyed a nut until i realised the problem.

To make a long story short:

I mailed Horizon and they sent me the missing parts (From the United States to Germany!) for free.

BTW:

I've bought the kit via eBay and I get the service I only could dream about at the LHS.

Pity they didn't replace the pistons that were wrong in the 2 packets I bought :thumbdown:

I have to add:

It took some time (about a month) until i got the replacements (It was quite unexpected to receive a pracel from the U.S.).

Also you can't expect to receive a answer within a week.

Paitience will be rewarded (with replacement parts)

Thanks, I'll try that email address, I used another.

I have to say I bought a set of B44 drive shafts, and the retaining clips were not in the packet, so emailed them the same day. I got a reply back the following day asking my address and saying they would be put in the post to me :thumbsup:

I let you know if I get a reply from Losi.

I had very good service off them checking out and even replaced a spektrum reciever for me!!!:thumbsup:

Before it was Horizon I mailed every single address on the Losi page twice about a couple of things (one being LCD's) and never ever got a responce.

Emailed AE once about outdrive issues (FT one wearing out in 2 meetings) and had new ones in the post straight away.

Obviously X Factory service is second to none now though ;)

Guys, best adice is dont hassle the manufacturer direct, they rarely get time to address each individual email, this is why they have a ditributor for each country to deal with this for them. You should in the case of Losi contact Horizon UK (and AE would be CML). You will find you will get a far quicker response that way and most times a more satisfactory solution/answer. This of course is only as a last resort AFTER you have contacted your local shop you got your items with the problem/query on first, they should get it dealt with ASAP for you on your behalf, you should never need to contact the manufacturer at all.
