Darren Bloomfield does the double at Talywain
 

The third round of the BRCA 1/10th National series was held recently at Talywain, Wales.


The Talywain crew put on a good all-grass track with plenty of man-made obstacles to navigate. Darren Bloomfield was making a return to 1/10th off road after missing the first two rounds of the championship due to 1/8th buggy commitments. Darren, being the reigning 2WD National champion didn't seem to be too concerned with his lack of practice - taking The TQ and a hard-fought win.
The 4WD class wasn't quite so straight forward for Darren, with only two finishes from the four qualifiers Darren only lined up 4th on the grid. Ellis Stafford, double-winner at the previous round was on pole and looked devastatingly quick. It was Darrens day however and he took the last two legs of the A final to secure a fantastic double victory to mark his return to the class.

I read on the another website that Darren used the XXX-4G+ to win this race?????? Lol I think it was the losi site, but cant be bothered to find it again, haha:woot:

funny you should ask :lol: - not my photo, thats Matt Benfields. But on that same page they used a photo from the neo without permission. I sent a friendly email asking them to put a link on - they ignored about three such emails before I had to go higher and contact them to complain.. They apologised but refused to put a link to my site, instead took the photo down. I think they don't like me.:lol:
