Dualsky esc

I was looking for a reasonably priced esc when I came across the dualsky xc550tf-mj. I was going for a reventon r, but after the multitude of issues I read about, I changed my mind. Does anyone have info/experience with the dualsky?
Just to add its going in an sv2.

Very good esc. I run one in a dex410 and easily handles a 7.5 in that so should be fine in the cougar. One worthwhile option is the usb connector so you can fully program the esc properly

The main issue with the Reventon R seems to be user error !

Not reading spec and using motors to powerful !
Not reading instructions on how to connect the Setting Card to the PC

Another issue is ( as always ) a Savox Servo Issue and the excessive power draw !!

Just my two pennies worth though

smd now do a programing box that does all the dualsky speedos and adjusts everything you can on a laptop, go for that, the speedos are ace!

Another vote for dualsky from me, the one you mention is the lowest spec in the range but is absolutely fine in a 2wd buggy. In fact Richard johnson who works for dualsky importer SMD has used one all year with no issues, and he drives his cars HARD! (Hehe, sorry jono)
