orion R10 problem

I'm having trouble to get a linear power band on my R10 PR0 2/3S 160mah.

When using the mod software on my lrp X20 8.5 the power peaks very high at the end of the throttle. Turbo, timing etc.. is set on 0 with a level 3.
if I use the stock software and put boost, timing etc.. very low it is smooth and linear.

Any idea why this is??

That's strange! Usually the R10 is really smooth, I usually use some boost and turbo to gain high end speed, and that's on a Orion 7.5.

I also believe that there is no difference between stock and mod profiles other than the possibility to add way more timing (boost + turbo) on the stock prog.

Maybe something went wrong when uploading the prog on the esc, or calibrating the radio inputs.

Could you post your set up you are using with the 7.5?
Maybe I did something wrong without knowing it.

Thanks in advance!

Here is my 7.5 setup, nothing special really :

Running mode : 1 (Fwd/brk)
Drag brake : 0
Low voltage cutoff : 3.2V/cell
Punch : 3
Brake force : 87.5% (Epa between 85% and 100%)
Reverse force : not revelant
Initial brake force : 0
Neutral range : narrow
Overheat protection : enabled
Boost : 10
Boost start : 5000
Boost timing : n/a
Turbo timing : 10 (15 for a long straight, 0 if slippery)
Slope : 12°/s
Turbo delay : 0.4

I'm using the latest mod software, ratio is 78/24 = 8.45
Stock timing on the motor endbell.

I tried using a bigger pinion (26) with less boost (8), power delivery is smoother but I lack some punch.

Looks similar as my set up.

What is the latest mod software, code?

Thanks

Again mine is similar.

You say that reverse force isn't relevant but it is .. try turning it up and down without changing your brake setup and see what happens!

I run reverse force of 50-75% in 2wd and 75-100% in 4wd.
