I tried a weight on the back of mine the other week and found the car got worse

The handling was better on the slippy stuff but on the high grip and over jumps the car felt awful. Took it off in the end

If thats the case having the weight in front of the rear axle will help more.
Rdrp do a 30 or 60g motor weight that screws in between your motor and the alloy plate.
I have the 30g on mine and found that it hrlped plant the rear end a bit more on the slippy stuff.

Why is it better to have the weight in front of the rear axles?
