ZX-6?

So, I was discussing with a club mate today, if a Lazer ZX-6 was to be created..what would we all like to see on this new 4wd kit? What would you keep exactly the same from the ZX-5? What would you like to see new if the guys at Kyosho decide to bring us a new 4wd to sit alongside the lovely new RB6 2wd?

Discuss as you will folks :)

kyosho zx6

Rite i think and only what i think that should be on the zx6 is,

All alloy to be done in kyosho red.
Kyosho gold turn buckles.
I think back to belts like the 1990s zx alot smooother (my thoughts only).
Small bore shocks.
Carbon fibre shock towers 4mm and 5mm as option.
Quick release shock bolts.
Slipper nut you can get too.
Center motor design more like tamiya 511.
Belt covers.
Carbon fibre chassis.
Lipo trays.

Nice only my thought for what its worth.:D

What I'd like is the car that should've already happened, a Gil Losi jr designed car, what was the point of Kyosho hiring one of the best RC car designers, and not having him design cars? A Kyosho XX4 anyone?

perhaps

I'd go for:
  • swinging cam motor mount
  • quick release diffs
  • quick release wheels
  • carbon chassis and towers
  • ali rear hubs as standard
  • PT strap factory fitted in chassis
  • tapered shock pistons as stock
  • cab forward shell

Maybe option to run front one-way?

TBH I don't see much wrong with the ZX5 FS2 SP kit, certainly I go quicker with it than anything else I've run. It's a nice, stable platform; it responds well to tuning inputs and generates fantastic steering.

Things I'd change? Stick a Vega link in for the steering, and drill the battery post so you can use clips or thumbscrews... like Shumacher do. Oh, and pay Rudebits to stick one of their weight kits in every box.

Otherwise, leave all the bits as options so I don't have to pay for them:lol::lol:

Well,
We don't expect any new car just yet as current FS2SP is very good and just proved at Japanese Nationals to be a car of choice.

A front one way has always been available and is good tuning option for tight twisty tracks.
