New motor

Hello peeps,

I'm in the market for a new brushless motor, I'm gunna go for a 10.5 as its for indoors but i wondered if anyone can recommend a good one that has the sensor cable port perpedicular to the ground as my current port is on the end and the cable clashed with my chasis and prevents flex on the one side, which unbalances the car.

Any suggestions welcome.
Wes

Hobbywing, GM and Vampire all have a side-entry sensor cable.

DualSky also has side entry sensor port

Cheers guys,

I noticed the dualsky and Gm had side entry ports.

Does anyone know what the Dualsky motors are like?

Very similar to the HPI ones, fast and smooth.

No direct experience myself but I know 2 F1's from the Mid East region (Nathan Waters and Iain Mellish, both Team Durango drivers) have run them to good effect this season. HTH :)

Cheers guys, that's good to know.

Dual sky might be the way to go.

Decisions, decisions eh!

Just fitted a dualsky 7.5 motor in my car, what a great piece of kit! As fast top end as an LRP 6.5 but smoother power delivery, loads cooler running and less power consumption (1000 out of my cells after 5 minute run compared to 1300 with the LRP in 2wd)

Yes got to admit they are very good motors I've run mine for a few weeks now runs super cool and very efficient on batteries and quick too carnt wait to run it outdoors to see how quick it is on a big track , I ran mine in a team c tc02c with a dualsky esc with a standard spur & a 21 tooth pinion
