Charger question

Hi I've been looking at the new thunder power 6200 1s lipo's and they state they can be charged in around 5mins at 12c. What chargers are capeable of doing this?
Every one I look at seams to be 5-6a maximum charge rate and no mention of this 12c number

Can anyone help?

On their website:

http://thunderpowerrc.com/G6AdvanceE...oBatteries.htm

It states to charge at up to 2C unless you use an approved charger but does not state which it is.

I would never charge at over 2C anyway no matter what they say.

Edit:

Their charger says in the manual that it will charge at up to 30A:

12C? Really? That's 75A! I doubt you'll find a commercially available charger that'll do that (cue a list of chargers that will!)

Either way, I'd stick to 1C.

the powerlab 8 will get you just over 6C and thats currently the most powerfull on the market at this time. But >10 min isn't bad.

It states this, which doesn't make sense.
"Max charge rate is possible when using approved charger and balancer combinations ONLY. Max charge rate is 2C when using all other combinations and 1C when charging without a balancer".

It's a 1s pack why would you need a balancer, theres not another cell to balance with.
Unless it's to use an adaptor to wire six packs in series and charge at 2C which would be the same average time nearly as a 12C single cell.

Well I emailed thunder power the question and there reply was.

Wait for it

There isn't one that will do it. So not entirely sure why they advertise it

That's because no-one in their right mind will sell a charger that someone will use to blow themselves up.
There is NO advantage (other than charging quicker) to charging at stupidly high C ratings. Infact exactly the opposite - your cells will have a reduced life span.
The BRCA recommend charging at 1C for a reason...
