Help with lipos
 

Can anyone direct me to a decent set of lipos that fit the gt14b,but are not guna pee off the vank manager?

I bought 2 hobbyking nano-tech 850mah 2s packs ($5.99 each) and made a parallel saddle pack. Slightly too large for use with the battery posts on the gt14b so I bought some small Velcro straps which are held using a nut and bolt through the post holes. Some Velcro on the chassis and on the bottom of the batteries raises them up to stop any rubbing on the nuts.

To charge and balance the pack I bought 2 balance leads and made a Y connector to attach to the 2 batteries. If you're worried about this homebrew setup it's basically exactly the same as a large capacity 2s lipo if you took it apart and examined the cells and wiring.

just connect them up in parallel to make a 1600mah saddle.

i actually got the saddle packs from model imports,but wa i dont no is if they will last.i also have a paralele link wire on order.i have two 800mah lipos whitch im guna run in paralele mode as brian says.

Just abit of a pain not many companys make saddles for the carisma.i spoke to max amps and they directed me to a 1800 saddle pack whitch they would make for to my specs whitch i thought was gd but with p&p it would be 90quid to get 2 packs sent from america.
