Yokomo Bx-4 on S2 and S4

Hi, this is a emergency, recived my rear hubs FOR Yokomo so i can get more toein on the rear... this day, and when i was going to mount them, the B4 ballbearing doesnt fit...on Yokomo it is 10mm in the hub and the B4 is inch..any tip for this ?

Loctite bearing fit, depending on how big the gap is?:(

Thomas P 02-06-2008 03:49 PM

aint sooo much, say app a alu can (fanta or coke) on one side..

josh_smaxx 02-06-2008 03:52 PM

So long as the bearing doent rattle it shouldnt really be much of a problem, the stub axle holds it in one side and the axle spacer the other, so if you can fill the gap with something like a can or other then it shoudl be OK

To use the Yokomo hub's you'll need a pair of Yokomo UJ's (straight swap for the B4 ones but metric fit instead of imperial) and the 10mm bearings........ then you'll find the hinge pin is too small for the wishbone and it'll be a loose fit:o.

I believe Rayspeed do 0.5 & 1 deg alloy hubs for the B4 - best thing is to get a set of them and sell the Yoke ones

mattym0310 02-06-2008 05:02 PM

or you could buy new bearings with a larger diameter??

But they still wouldnt fit in the hubs because the yok ones are metric nd the CVD axle is still imperial.

Thomas: My opinion is get rid of the yokomo hubs, it's going to be a lot of hassle to fit them.

You can get B4 fitment hubs with 0.5 and 1 degree hubs from Rayspeed or Racers Edge.

Or you could ask Jonathan about some alternative toe in blocks which alter the inboard toe in.

The Yokomo is p for sale in any minute..

Craig i got the link to Microtechracing, and they are out of 0.5

Racers edge are out of both 0.5 and 1.0

i think i have spend 2 or 3 h to look, it is out everywhere...i want the racers edge...have to look clooser.

Wanted: 0.5

and 2 pcs of 1.0

Body Paint 02-06-2008 06:14 PM

Thomas P 02-06-2008 06:23 PM

But they are only in 0.5, and hard to find Craig :/..or maybe you have any golden place for me to find 1 and 0.5 in :D ?

I got mine from a shop in the states, I am racking my brain trying to remember the name. When I remember I'll let you know.
