Was wondering if anyone could give me a good starting point for tyres to use on carpet with a 1/10th TC

most common carpet tyre is sorex 28 jb or 32 jb
other option is moorespeed tyre

I use sorex 28 with tyre additive

have a look for Fastrax t27's - cheap & cheerful for carpet racing with a tourer or as was said keep any eye out for 28's or RP24's or RP30's if you need more or less grip respectively.

T27s are NOT a good tyre. They are from the stone age of RC touring and anyone that was trying to get them to work well would be doing all sorts of tricks with inserts and superglue, and they would still wear out.

Sorex 28JB is a brilliant tyre for carpet. Club or big race, they haven't let me down in about three seasons of using them. I still have my original set from 2010 and they are still good for club even after loads and loads and loads of runs. On carpet, this tyre almost never wears out!
