Tips & Tricks to building Team C 2wd Gear Diff

Hi,

I decided to try the gear diff conversion on one of my 2wd SC trucks.
I would greatly appreciate any advice you might consider useful.

Cheers,
Las

Its quite easy, fill the gear diff with oil and drive the car :) If you use loose oils you might want to use some sealant for the gasket and o-rings.

Most people prefer around 2-3k oils.

Thanx Goos, but what I would like to know is the experience Ansmann/Team C owners have had with building (and later using) the gear diff, for example shimming, diff oil, etc.

If you build your diff and you can feel the gear teeth, replace the 5.1x8x.2 shim with a thinner one, .1. Makes a big "diff"-erence ;)
Or use the stock shim and give it lots of break in time.

I've built mine as they said in the notice an not problem.
I've drive 800 on dirt and 1000 or 2000 on astro carpet.
I've do near 30 pack with him and no problem.
