Finally finished the restoration of my QD Dash 3 Shooting Star.

The car was not in circulation very long and I got this one in 1989 or1990. It fell into a bit of disrepair and the gear box had been a bit damaged when water was left sitting in it several years ago. The body was also damaged beyond repair.

It's back to almost factory finish :D

I'd like to thank victor101car (Lightwater models) on Ebay for finding me a body shell in perfect condition.

LOL.. well..I still have several Ansmann's..but I'm waiting to race my just finished DEX210 :D

I'm looking for a Tamiya Lunchbox or Hornet now to restore. I tried to get a few on Ebay but I'm always outbid in the last 12 seconds...really friggin annoying haha
