I would just like to say a big thanks to DMS Racing for getting my bits to me so fast, after ordering late last night round 5:25 ish i got my parts this morning to my door!

DMS actualy predict your order 48 hours in advance using a special rc specific medium known only as septic peg.

Peg will stare into her empty pint glass moan convulse and shudder until its filled with cheap scotch with an absinthe chaser then she will focus on the rc dimention and read out a list of parts adresses and credit card no's in a smooth calm voice.

I whitnessed this in a dream so it must be true :woot::confused::woot::woot::woot::wtf::wtf:


That or DMS have some serious dirt on the post office top management ensuring fast delivery :woot:

Seriously, to be fair we dont do anything special. Most shops get a business collection for their post but when we had one the latest we could get was 3:30pm which meant after that everything was not leaving until the next day. We realised that since the main sorting office is a main route out of London to the north of the country it has a counter where customers can go to post items and since it is "on the site" of the sorting office it is open until 7pm every evening, so we decided to take our post there ourselves.
The bonus for us is that it is only approx 1 mile from the shop, so although we only "promise" to get orders out that are in before 3pm (to give ourselves time) we ALWAYS do our very best to get ALL orders from that day out on time. As long as we have our van loaded with the crates of post by 6:40pm each night we can always get the stuff out!! The best bit is even the next day packets are still taken in (and delivered next day) when we post them by 7pm by using this method, yet when most average shops are shut at 5:30pm and most post offices are too we get that extra hour and ten minutes to get the work done and out the door.

Our larger parcels are all sent via Business Post and by luck more than judgement we are the last call on their drivers run each night and he picks up from us in his lorry at between 6pm and 6:30pm so even the big parcels get out on time too.

This all coupled with our large stocks means we dont have to wait "too" often for stock to arrive, so it gets shipped the day it is ordered (providing of course that we have it)

So now you know, no magic, no time machine, definaetly no Septic Peg just a system thats works really well for us and indeed for our mail order customers too!!!!

That is comitment and good planing

I can only say good things about DMS i have never had such top notch service from a model shop. Darren is a top bloke too and knows his stuff, so it all adds up to a well oiled machine :thumbsup:

Can i echo this as well? Awesome service and probably the best prices in the UK to boot :)

This makes me feel good considering im ringing on Saturday and hoping an X-6 will be on my doorstep by monday :fingers crossed: :thumbsup:

Josh, dont phone staurday mate, phone friday, our mail order section is not open on a staurday and there is no post, but if you phone by 3pm on friday one WILL be with you by monday (if you phone thursday you WILL have it on friday!!!!)

I have also had nothing but 1st class service from DMS, well done Darren and keep up the great work :thumbsup:

We should have a "DMS-Day" on the 12 month calender :thumbsup:
