Cheap brushless systems

Has anyone tried or seen one of these? they are pretty cheap, just to run at club nights etc:

Looks to be pretty much the same thing as a Speedpassion Feigao or similar. It ought to be fine if you're running stock but the speedo won't like quicker motors...
Nice and cheap though :)

I have a Novak system for racing in my B44, this was just an idea to chuck in a 2wd for club nights..

It would probably be fine for club with a stock motor, you don't 'need' that much power there, but could you resist the temptation to put more power in?!!:woot:

Also, you haven't got a 2wd have you? Thought the Blaze was for club...

You might have a problem fitting it in as the dimensions say the motor is 500mm long!:)

I've always found the speedo to be the thing you least want to cheap out on. Cheap speedo's will blow, even running 27t motors on speedos with 15t limits i've seen go up in smoke endless amounts of times.

A lot of beginners I find fall into this circle of buying cheap gear then blowing it and replacing it with more cheap gear. By the time they catch on that they should just buy good gear to start out with they have paid more than the cost that the good gear would of been initially.

I agree with you Mole, I have good stuff that I use for meetings etc, Have been racing for around 7 years now. I just saw this earlier and thought if I get a 2WD this is a cheap option for just messing around on a friday night at club. May take a risk and try one, if I do I will let you know how it is.

Peetbee - No 2WD at mo, but thinking getting one. How are the 6x new radio's you bought last week at club?? Lol
