one minute please to help in a GCSE!!!

My name is Alex Luff and this questionnaire is part of my DT GCSE course. I am researching how people use RC cars and if start gates are any use. The survey should only take about one minute to complete, please mark the option that applies to you in any way you like.
Thank you for taking the time to complete my questionnaire, it is much appreciated.:thumbsup:

This is a link to my survey on surveymonkey.com, no tricks.

Done, would like to tick more box's question 4, and when racing we are very competitive, level of competition not important.

Starting gates are for dogs and horses that need to be controlled, RC cars (mostly) have full control of start and stop.

Hi, rcfanatic, how comes this is you first post ? come back and see us.

thanks guys so much! was never expecting so many replies; 10 in the first 15 mins!
this is research for a dt gcse project in which I am making a single car lap timer, counter, average lap time ever, best and worst ever lap time, sessions best and any other good suggestions I get in Q5.

I am targeting practice sessions rather than races because it is only a GCSE project and my budget (out of pocket) is limited.

Having looked at the transponder systems before creating this survey they are far beyond my reach technically as well as costly!

The name start gate is the one used by the exam board and doesn't really fit the idea very well, there is no restriction of when the car passes through it.

All done for you fella. I cant see the point of a start gate, but a personal timer would be awesome. Suppose it depends on your ability to get any pracitice in on a track similar to the one you race on...
