LRP fan needs a push
 
Hi,iv re fitted the fan on my sxx and it wont go round unless i give it a little spin,any ideas what it could be,

it cant be coz when i give it a push it will keep going,

Still knackered, probably blown something. I've just binned one that was doing the same. Too small and fiddly to fix, and dirt cheap to replace.

Yup, it's dropped a coil and needs a kick start, after which the duff coil is masked by the inertia of the rotor. Replace it; it is liable to fail completely any time. HTH :)

yeah,iv just tried stopping it in different places and it starts in some and not in others,

its knackered:woot:
