Please no massive debates on what is good and what is bad.

Please could you just post you favourite jump or track feature, with if possible a picture and why you like it :thumbsup:

the doubles at Batley.....:woot:

eden park bomb hole into table top(running clockwise) so rewarding when u get it right but if u get it wrong ouch!!! oh and stotfold table top sectioning lovely when u find the rythm and get um bang on :thumbsup:

Full left hand section of Bury Metro from first corner dropping down off camber (I think) left, commitment onto the bricks and then down the bank onto the doubel/table top thing which you need to land for when they then have a right hander.

I'm probably unlike most people in that I don't like "big air" for its own sake, but what I do like is sections that reward a good line and a nice balance between fast and slow, with obstacles that need to be negotiated not simply ramped.

From Saturdays 4wd NERCR track I particularly enjoyed the left/right/left-jump/left-tabletop section after the main straight, and also the right/left/kicker-tabletop/right section in the middle. Both rewarded a good line by letting you carry speed, but you also needed to line up the jumps at the right angle and the right speed to clear them quickly too.

I'm not so keen on endless sucessions of constant radius hairpins and jumps that you will clear regardless of approach (a bit like the second half of the NERCR 4wd track).

the back section at southport under the tree's,and the section before the wall of death at stotfold,technical and very rewarding,

i was just going to put that. If you get it spot on, it's mint!!!

not really raced on many tracks but i like jump sections that are not to big as dont like big air{ dint like the triple thing at oz national }

I think you're meaning outdoors northy but i reckon this rhythm feature we put in at Worksop indoors was the business :thumbsup:

I quite liked the big air jump at NERCR.

Also, i agree with Dan regarding Bury.

The double doubles at Austria.

Mild corner into the first jump, have to downslope the 2nd to carry speed and then a slightly bigger gap to the 3rd, have to downslope the 4th then into hairpin.

The corner jumps such as Austria, and York 2008 indoor regional.

The entry onto the straight at Bury - around Banked corner, or over the back, both feels very flowing and rewarding for carrying speed without lifting the front wheels. Lovely. Infact, this is my most favourite.

Like sosidge said, I like sections that you have to get the line of it correct to be quick [for it to be rewarding]. Rythmic sections are good along with corner jumps, as said by Chris.

Although I havn't raced it, I like the sound of the bombhole into table top, sounds cool :thumbsup:

I like the tripple at coventry as you have various options how you want to take it depending on what the track is like. I generally like feautres that you have an out option if something goes wrong leading up to it. The tripple would of been great at oz if people like me would have had the option to double single. i like the bomb hole into table top at CML. I havn't raced at stotfold or southport so i am looking forward to visiting this tracks. Think it might be a steep learning curve at those tracks :thumbsup:

My favorite track section was probably at the 2004 CRCRC Mid-Winter Race. There was a roller-double-double going from the right to left one lane in from the drivers' stand, ending at the far left of the track. There, you went up on a table-top, turned a sharp 180 left, and came down off the table top. Then you drove down into a pit - at least 5 feet down or so - came up for a short double jump at surface height, went back down into the pit, and then came out, over a small roller, and a sharp left. The whole section required timing and throttle control to do correctly. What was really cool about it was, in modified, over 5 minutes it was faster to go down into the pit, do the double, back down, and drive out. That's how everyone ran in qualifying. But if you needed a really quick lap, and had good car control, you could just punch it the whole way down into the first pit and launch off the double, landing on the downside of the small roller. The immediate left turn meant you had to downside this perfectly though, as even a slight bit too much throttle meant you rolled off into the distance. It made for great racing in the modified A mains, as the top guys were just jumping over each other lap after lap, 2nd place going big to make the pass :D:woot:.

Have to say cml bomb hole to table top for me too, soo smooth.
Indoors it would be newbury tabletop, big air:thumbsup:

It is sooo easy to jump very high on this jump ... but all time spend in the air, is lost time, so you better stay very low. :)

seriously, I liked the double double at the back of CML Raceway, so nice and flowing when you got it right, it seems to have chagned now though.

I liked it because it rewarding getting it right, it was easy to single-single-single-single but slower, it was not a big air car breaker if you try it and get it wrong.
