No reverse with new set-up
This is my 1st car, I've given in a quick check indoors to see if everything functions, I've got steering and power but no reverse.
I'm sure the fault will be something obvious - plugs wrong way round in receiver or set-up in the transmitter? |
Need a bit more info chap !
What Have you bought ? What Speed Controller is fitted ? What Transmitter have you got ?? More info the better. |
Transmitter and receiver are Futaba 3gr 2.4 ghz transmitter & Futaba R603FF
Speed controller is Reedy XP-SC450 - 2nd hand as well (came with the car) Is it possible the transmitter (2nd hand) was set up for a nitro car - I can't find anything clearly in the manual if it is set up for nitro/electric... - maybe a factory re-set may help? |
Your speedo has a reverse lockout so you will need to turn the reverse function back on.
|
OK - I re-set the transmitter and now it seems to work OK - both channels were backwards but I've reversed them OK so all looks good now.
|
You'll need to reset the controller to the speedo now.
Instruction for the speedo can be found online. |
