No reverse with new set-up

This is my 1st car, I've given in a quick check indoors to see if everything functions, I've got steering and power but no reverse.

I'm sure the fault will be something obvious - plugs wrong way round in receiver or set-up in the transmitter?

Need a bit more info chap !

What Have you bought ?
What Speed Controller is fitted ?
What Transmitter have you got ??

More info the better.

Transmitter and receiver are Futaba 3gr 2.4 ghz transmitter & Futaba R603FF

Speed controller is Reedy XP-SC450 - 2nd hand as well (came with the car)

Is it possible the transmitter (2nd hand) was set up for a nitro car - I can't find anything clearly in the manual if it is set up for nitro/electric... - maybe a factory re-set may help?

Your speedo has a reverse lockout so you will need to turn the reverse function back on.

OK - I re-set the transmitter and now it seems to work OK - both channels were backwards but I've reversed them OK so all looks good now.

You'll need to reset the controller to the speedo now.
Instruction for the speedo can be found online.
