4mm Trailing arm spindles

Hi,

Has anyone tried the 4mm trailing arm spindles TLR1075. Will they be any good on carpet as thats what i race on and the track is tight.

Thanks

Hi

I've been running the 4mm trailing axles for a while and feel that they allow me to lean on the car more. Generally I feel they smooth out the car and take away some of the grip on exit making it smoother through that stage of the turn. In summary, for me they have made the car more consistent to drive.

But in answer to your question about running them indoors, I am not so sure as I haven't had the chance to test back to back with the standard (2mm trailing) spindles yet. It does depend on your driving style and what you are looking for in your car at the moment as to whether or not the 4mm spindles will aid you in achieving a better balance for you.

HTH

Chris

My guess, running indoors on a tight track would be the last place you'd want to use them. The 4mm trailing spindles would be more applicable to larger layouts with higher speed turns to smooth out the steering, something not really needed on tight quick indoor tracks.

When you use the 4 mm Trailing arm splindles, do you shave the arm and put two spacers (2 mm + 2mm) on the bottom?

You don't "have" to, but if you don't it will shorten the wheelbase.
