mardave v10
 

hi guys been a while since ive posted on oople so thought my 1st post in a while would be to show you my new baby.

i bought this v10 in a sorry state but dint take much to get it sorted.

anyway here she is ive had some a arms made out of alloy for her since i cant get spares to save the originals from been broken.

ive had them made to take 3mm king pins so i can use f103gt front hubs which in turn ive had to make some axles from some titanium turnbuckles.

pic quality is abit pants ill try get some better 1s later.

i fitted f103 springs but were to short to have reverted back to the original springs.

what do you guys think?

i could do with the tyres truing though as the shell doesnt go low enough so need to invest in a tyre truer or a friend with 1.

nice it would be nice to have that mod for the v12 mardaves saves having the bearing in the wheels

i supose ou could do it but the hubs are taller so would need to file them down then make an axle for them. i was lucky with the turnbuckles they were the only 1s on ebay that were the right diameter and long enough to make them i had to bid on them too but luckily they were still cheap.

looks sweet - I miss my V10's, sold one of my last ones to the guy that started the thread under this one - Qatmix - wonder if he knows it was me :)

ive never used it cant wait to have a blast with it round a track(indoors only) lol just need to get the tyres trued down they are too big for a shell to go on it.

I still take my v10 out for a spin. I do need some more rear tyres for it though.

i put some of these on mine not tryed them yet as i need to get them trued down but had no offers yet lol

heres an update on how the car has come along.

its almost ready for its 1st meeting or last will see how the alloy holds out just need to sort a bumper out for it as the original was naff.

tyres have been trued thanks to jasond43 cheers bud.

and the shell was something i had laying around will have a new 1 ready for its 1st meeting.
