X-6 Xtras
 

Really considering getting an X6 now. They look really good at South Shields. I have asked this before to Dan Greenwood but have deleted the PM.Doh! If i buy the X6 Conversion, what else will i need to get it the same as the team drivers cars? I dont want to get it just to find out that i need to spend another X-ammount of pounds on it to get it going.

On my car I run Losi Shocks, E-Speed Hangers, Bk2 Stub Axles. I think that's it for 'performance' extras. I also use Carbon anti-squat shimz for Glenn 'cos there easier.


If I think of anything else I'll add it.

there good as they come out of the box but the extras i have put on mine is
the e speed parts
k factory front shock tower
losi bk2 rear axles
rayspeed rear hubs

cant think of anything else that you need but im sure someone will remember something that i have forgotten

78t spur as 81t just touches the drive pins in the outdrives.

may need to dremel the chassis a little to get your servo in.

dremel a bit of the chassis away to make it easier to get to the lower motor fixing screw

Tom has just about covered it I think. They arnt essential but I would get the shorter rear turnbuckles. Tom uses them and I understand Dan does too? Only get these if you get the Espeed camber link hangers.

hahaha, well the X6 certainly seemed to be the car to have today at south shields as Ben found out and others:thumbsup: you gotta have some nortech bling on the X6 :drool:

I checked the orders from the weekend on our online shopping cart admin and there are already 6 X6's pre-ordered to go out on tuesday, and that is if we dont sell any more tommorow since we are closed for the bank holiday!! Better set my alarm clock early for tuesday .......

Dificult to put an order on priotrity of upgrades but if you had a gun to my head;

Most importantly get the LATEST SPEC CAR (4 gear tranny, carbon rear tower etc)!
E Speed hangers / 78 spur / BK2 axles
Losi shocks
E Speed T piece

Not performance improving but nice to have are;
Carbon shims
B4 (or whatever) servo mounts (sorry Chazz)

Dan, I think that about sums it up in the order that people have been asking for stuff, except for those wanting the "poser" bits like the K Factory front tower and Rayspeed rear hubs (neither of which are essential)
