Shortened Transmitter Sticks

I'm after a smaller transmitter stick, particularly for my steering.

It's for a Etronix Pro.

Anyone recommend where i can find some!?

Cheers

The people I know who use them just cut the originals down. Don't ask me how but I assume they unscrew the thumb grip part and then cut the threaded bar which is attached to the tranny. Then screw the thumb bit back on

Exactly how to do it. I've done a couple this way.

With the Etronix one, you may need to trim the thumb pad down too, as they are a tad on the long side!

I Was thinking of that; will put the lower section in the lathe to turn it down... Have seen the RCStyx 3/4" ones which look nice.. http://www.progressiverc.com/rcstyx-3-4.html

I just undid the thumb knob, then wound the spacer off, then put the thumb knob back on, wound down as far as it goes. Did the job for me, no machining involved

My top section is already necked out on the thread, lower section is still used as there's clearance. If I cut the male thread down then the lower section will be too tall to allow a significant drop in the height of the stick.
