DEX210..drive train issue..still!

Hi chaps...

I've done a complete re-build which has made things make more sense now and I understand the car much more :)

But I'm still having an issue with the rear CV joints.

It appears that the side with the ball joint pin sitting horizontally will cause the ball joint itself to jam on the inside of the outdrives...

I've included a quick diagram to try and illustrate what I mean.

Am I the only person this has happened to :) ?

Any suggestions or thought?

Thanks

J

Do you mean the ball of the dog bone touching the outdrive ?

Using the term ball joint may make people misunderstand that its the ball stud for the camber link that screws in above the outdrive

take it for a rip, no half measures dump a fully charged lipo.

Usually sorts out the tightness.

Not sure I wanna run it atm like it is...

I've done a quick clip showing what it does...have a look and see if anything comes to mind.

Out-drive issue clip

Thanks

FIXED!!

Thanks to Adam Skelding at Durango UK support.

After a few e-mails back and forth this morning he correctly diagnosed the issue was the pin location in the CVD axle assembly.

I took it apart and re-located the pin and it's perfect.

Great service.

Thanks everyone for your input :)

Ill take them apart to fix this.
