The Loss Of A Close Friend

It is with great regret that I have to inform the racing community that in the early hours of Tuesday morning, Ann Cragg passed away.

Mick has asked me to make a small announcement on his behalf, to say that anyone who wishes to attend her funeral is more than welcome. Contact me for details as he has enough on his plate at the moment. Cards and texts are welcome direct to Mick himself but he needs time and some space to do what he has to do.

Ann was a close friend of our family, she was a well known and much loved person.

She will be sorely missed.

The funeral will be held at St. Peter's Church, Harpers Lane, Chorley, Lancs.PR6 0HT
9.30am Friday 22nd September

It made me really very sad to hear about this from Arslaan. I spoke to Ann quite a few time over the last couple of years, she was always there watching neil and cheering him on no matter what the weather. She was really lovely.
Really very sorry for Mick and his family, I don't know what else to say really.

I will be at Tiverton on Friday for the f3-4-5's. Anyone that wishes to send on a message or sign a card, come see me as I will have one with me for everyone else to sign.
Mick has also said that anyone who wants to make a donation to St. Catherine's Hospice can so and it will be passed on to Mick on my return. They do an awesome job, and only work from donations, so anything you can do to help will be appreciated.

Thanks for all the nice replies, I know Mick is looking in from time to time and will appreciate all of your comments.

For anyone that can't make it to Tiverton, and wants to donate, please PM me for details.

Please pass on the condolences from Darren, Trevor and the rest of the Yapp household to Mick, Neil and everyone else in their family.

I've had many a race with Neil (usually well behind him) and spoken many time to both Mick and Anne when i used to race, a sad loss :(
