RC Clubs near Loughborough University
 

Hello

My Son Greg is going to Loughborough uni at the end of September. Can anyone advise of any RC clubs nearby? Off road prefered but would also run on road if a club was viable
The biggest problem we have is that it would have to be accessible by bus or train as he hasn't passed his driving test yet, plus I cannot afford the £3-4000 yearly insurance so bus would probably be the best option
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey Barry,

West bridgford model car club will be on a bus route for him. It is on the main road from Loughborough to Nottingham so there is bound to be a bus route that goes past.

We are currently indoors and race on friday nights. We also have an off-road saturday series starting in december.

Thanks for the reply, We will have a chat & see about Friday nights depending upon bus times & availability for getting back to uni after racing. Probably enter the winter series as well, I will look on your website later & see what we can come up with.
