F3,4,5's EoE

Best of luck to the EoE heading up (way up) to the 3,4,5's

If its anything like Broxtowe it will be worth the trip. Will be good if you can post some 'live' updates and pics.

Maybe James could polish the 'special' trophy for a handover ?

I will only be participating in the 4wd on Sunday because of work commitments on the Saturday :(
I will send you regular texts and pics with reference to broken bits and 10 sec penalties for bad marshalling ( wrighty ) lol

Well Mark qualified 8th in the C and finished 2nd and I qualified 3rd in the B and finished 3rd by half a car length. Can't remember where Simon and James finished

Nice, smashed our last couple of years results.

Wrighty - do you have the trophy for another day?! 4wd tomorrow, let's see if you get to keep it over the winter, or will Brady pry it from your grip.

A.R.C Raceway 16-09-2012 07:19 AM

F 3, 4 & 5 regional finals

weather overcast and breezy but dry:o, apart from the waterlogged paddock:mad:.
2 rounds of practice proved that this track is something quite different.:woot:
Rd 1 35th, rd 2 19th, rd 3 33rd, rd 4 19th.:)
Placed me 8th in C final.
My 210 was awesome in the final as clouds had come over and cooled the track, and with a few passes made it to a comfortable 2nd. :D:D
Danny made 3rd in B. Terrible wheelie off the start causing huge pile up:mad:, but again fought his way through to 3rd only to miss 2nd by half a car length.:D
The myth that astro is all the same?:o rubbish...... Southport required something quite different to any other astro venue.
We need better representation at these events. 4 out of 110 were EOE. The A final had 8 drivers from from north west alone......
Good luck to James and Simon for 4wd on Sunday. :)
Weather looks to be dreadful.....

Well done lads:woot: Don't know where it is next year, but hope to give it a go. We need your track up and running Mark, so us grass drivers can get used to astro!

Who ever said all astro was the same? I've never been to two astro tracks that felt the same yet.

As for better EoE representation there, can only speak for myself, but it was just too far to go for 25-35 mins of racing. If had been closer, I would've gone.

You're too higher grade Mr Myall.

Boughton, ARC and Coastal might all be in a position to punt for some tasty events soon - doorstep event racing!.

Not for this year I wasn't;) remember I dropped out of last years regionals to make sure I wasn't a F2 for this year in case I wanted to do the F3,4,5s again this year, before I found out where they were.

Maybe depends where it's held, although having a go at the Veterns class with the other old buggers seems like it might be fun.
