Schumacher Cougar 2000
I have slowly been buying bits and pieces from around the time I started racing in the mid 90's and I picked up a Cougar 2000 on ebay last week.
So far I have the car looks like a fibre lyte kit on it, Reedy Ultra Mr motor, Tekin TSC-410K or a Novak Hammer Pro speedo (don't know what one to use) and some Sanyo 1700 scrc cells. Still need a old KO FET servo and a receiver. Need parts for the car also, I'll make a list later of what I need to see if anyone can help out on here. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-P...k/2012%2B-%2B1 https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-4.../s903/2012+-+2 https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-A...3/IMAG0617.jpg https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-8...3/IMAG0618.jpg https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-t...3/IMAG0619.jpg |
That's my old car;)
Think i have the carbon bit your missing somewhere....will have a look if you want |
Cool that would be good , you wouldn't have a spur gear cover?
|
I can only look...anything else?

I want a new set of schumacher shocks with the alloy cap, new under tray/body and some wheels. I think most of the car is ok.
I ordered a set of the red tube driveshafts from a guy on ebay last week but they haven't turned up and it looks like they have been lost in the post  they were new in the pack as well, don't think they will come around to often  if you have a wee look for me that would be great |
Cells look great, what did you do to them :wub:drool::)
|
I've given them a clean, they were in great condition already just needed a clean.
thanks again for the cells mate ;) |
Those red tubular shafts won't fit in the diff outdrives on that car those driveshafts on the car are better anyway.....but if you want it original i maybe able to help.......
Found the carbon bit and can sort some wheels do you want tyres? don't have the gearcover.. teambluegroove do repo shells and undertrays Mick |
I got a refund for the driveshafts today looks like they have been lost in the post :(
Teambluegroove are moving to a bigger building so the shop is closed, a guy from TBG said they will be open for business by the end of the month. What wheels do you have, dish? 3-spoke? Don't need tyres I've got them coming out of my ears! |
Fronts have both new, rears might not be new but will be in good condition
|
I have a Cougar2000 with all the Schuey C/F bits ready to run. I liked the 94 car even more than the 95 Team for some reason.
I am certain I have a good condition used lexan gear cover here. Will that help out? Glad to see another sweet 94 up here. Cheers- Jason |
I always wanted a cat and cougar 2000ec . there is a "fireblade" cougar 2000 on ebay ay the moment. i dont remember this one. does any one else
manic |
If you mean this one
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2710547584...ht_2486wt_1271 its not a fireblade it's a cougar 2000 from 1993 same as this one in this thread but without the carbon parts |
Not had much time for this recently but it's almost finished, the only part I need is a battery strap. All the screws are now stainless steel with red cone washers where they can be used, a set of titanium turnbuckles would be nice to.

Very nice looking Cougar 2000  I always love the fibrelyte chassis sets. What you need now is a cool set of purple chassis gates to set it off nicely.
Is there anything else you're looking for, I have mountains of spares for these. Paul. |
Really only need a battery strap and some titanium turnbuckles.
|
Hey, did you ever find a gear cover?
I have a new in the pack one if interested. Let me know Thanks Stu P.s. car looks awesome. Always loved that hansell FibreLyte stuff. |
Yeah Stu I got a gear cover for it. Thanks for the offer though.
I'll get some better pics up when I eventually get it finished. Cheers |
Did the body come with the car? If it did, I have a feeling that's a body I painted quite some years ago......
|
It's a new shell I painted it. The shell is a team bluegrove reproduction.
