Questions about radio features and racing

Hello gentlemen

Looking at getting the futaba 3gr-fs stick radio for racing.
http://www.futaba-rc.com/systems/futk3010.html

But it doesnt have features like throttle speed, Traction control etc...

Will i miss those features?

Thanks!

Nope, that'll have pretty much everything you need!

All I ever adjust are end-points (EPA), sub-trims and occasionally exponential on the throttle. I've never used ABS or TC on a radio...

I'm also in the market for a new radio after my 40MHz Futaba 3VC developed a fault - not worth repairing, sadly.

I've looked at the 3GR and it has ALL the features I ever used on my 3VC - namely sub-trim, EPA, Dual-rate, EXP and the ATL feature to limit the brakes. It maybe doesn't feel quite as nice in the hand, but it is half the price and still listed as a current model by Futaba in Japan (the 3VCS has disappeared from their site).

You don't need those fancy features like ABS - I would actually avoid a lot of them for electric racing.
