practice time
 

hi all,does anyone know if there is anywhere(in england)that opens all day every day for racing? doesnt matter if its a flat-track,as i just need lots of track time before i enter micro nats:blush:. location is not a problem as i can stay local to track.

You can practice at Robin Hood Raceway astroturf track for as long as you like, its £8/day, there's a travelodge at Blyth 2 miles away. If you'd like to arrange something drop me a PM.

Hi James,is the dirt track available to practice on before the dirty weekend?

Is not open for practice unless there were a group of 10 or more as its such a lot of work to get the covers off, prep it etc - however if you come down on a work day and put a bit of graft in you're very welcome to run round afterwards.. We'll be having a work weekend this weekend to prep for the race on the 23rd, I'm away and volunteers are a bit thin on the ground so any assistance would be hugely appreciated.

As an example, I know that both the Cotswold and Mendip on-road tracks allow open access to members throughout the year for as much practice as you would like (assuming no other racing is taking place).
