You mean like, Yokomo YR4's, HPI Pro's etc......that, would be cool, wouldnt say no to another TC3......LOVE that car.

I remember the tc3 being released, there was a huge wait, I saw a pre release car on display at a touring car meeting (possibly a radio race car meet) at Ashby circuit. Craig Drescher was there to promote the car and answer any questions. I think I waited around 7-8 months for mine, id paid for it just from seeing spy shots in a magazine... i would say i got a bit obsessed with it lol. Gret memories.

i still race and drive my 2001 Kawada SV-10 II touring car.

quite a few tc3's still racing at our club, they make a really good beginners car as they are quite well balanced in low grip. i have a couple of them, also a 1/16 which is basically a shortened tc3 which goes well. got an old m1 xpress tourer as well, actually quite nice to drive, and a bit of a novelty too with its active castor front suspension

I think Vintage TC would make a fantastic event

Same here, the XXX-S was my 1st step into the world of TC in 2002 (or maybe later??) ish after putting my old buggies in the cupboard around 1995. Then came my favourite ever car, a milled XXX-S G+ with lots of blue alloy.....it was unbeatable on carpet with foams but I sold it.....like you, I wish I hadn't!

I was messing about with one of my TRF414's the other day. Although it was a bit of a problem trying to fit my lipo saddles in it.

I went from the HPI Pro 2 and Street weapon, into the TC3, and found a lap immediately, for my driving skills then, it wasnt of this world, a really great car, bulletproof too.
Went from the TC3, to the XXXS, and loved it for the first three minutes of a heat.....then, it was so lardy, (i had the kit before any groovy Spashett carbon was around) i always lost all my punch (Bedworth stock class) decent cells too.
Once id spent a wedge on the lighter carbon, things were somewhat better, but i still missed that TC3.

All this talk of the tc3.....well here's a picture of mine I've just taken.

It's not been raced for a while though :o

I've had it for about 11 or 12 years I reckon.

I think my hunt for a Novak Cyclone has begun !!!

ralphee 10-09-2012 05:04 PM

Ive looked for a cyclone for an age, but i want one NIP, and most US sellers on the bay wont send to the UK.
I did manage to pick up a NIB 410 and a MINT Atom....but i really, want a MINT cyclone.
