If he does it is likely that Schumacher will leave for good but even though I don't support him as much as I used to I would miss him alot:cry:

schumacher is going anyhow!

It think Micheal's time has come. He's done brilliantly throughout his career, lets not forget he holds the record for the most F1 wins, and F1 championships.
But his time is over, like Ruben Barrichello's was last year. He didn't want to quit F1 but no one offered him a drive.

Micheal will not quit racing though. He will go on to do German touring cars (like his brother) or possibly Le mans.

Hamilton never settled into Mclaren. He didn't trust the team or the team didn't trust him? we don't know, however he was never very happy with Mclaren,Mclaren offered him a drive for the next 3 years with a HUGE lump of cash, but he didn't accept the offer.

My feeling is: Felipe Massa or Paul Di Resta will drive for Mclaren and Hamilton will drive for Mercedes.

These drivers are very unstable in the F1 field and i'm not too sure they will get a drive this year?,

Romain Grosjean.
Bruno Senna.
Kamui Kobayashi.
Pastor Maldonado.

Thanks.

If it is true who do you think will take up the spare seat at McLaren?

Im too slow hitting the "submit reply" button!

Di Resta would be the good value option (as I believe he's one of the lowest paid on the grid) or Kimi if you wanted to have another fast driver alongside Button.

Massa has just not been the same since his accident so I wouldn't choose him.

Hamilton needs a clean break as he's clearly not got his head in the right place at the moment - almost seems like he's trying to force a result at times. He'll also get more control over his personal sponsorship and appearances at Mercedes, which will please his bank balance and his agent too.

bodgit 06-09-2012 05:45 AM

If it does turn out to be true then he seems to have given up hope of being world champion again over bank balance. Up to now this season he has moaned at times the car has not been good enough, yet he has 5 more points than both Mercedes drivers together. Schumacher has had loads of problems this season so it would be a big step backwards if he went there.
Wonder if thats why he put the telemetry tweet out for all to see.

I won't believe this until the deal is officially announced.

if there's any substance in the very loud rumour, it's probably some form of gamesmanship on the part of lewis's management team, as obviously it's far easier to call the shots if another offer is on the table.

however, I doubt there's anything in it - eddie jordan is a bit of a tool.

Dont forget cheat as well, drove Damen Hill off the track so he couldnt win the title on the last race of the season. Since then he has not been in my good books.

scotty_big_flip 06-09-2012 08:17 AM

He must be the slyest driver of all time ! look at the monaco qualifying sesh where he parked it on next to last corner. or 2/3 years ago when he almost forced Barachelo into the wall. i could go on... he is a full on ruddy dirty cheetin driver. cant wait untill him and maldanardo are out of F1 :p:lol::p

But 1995 he should have been disqualified for hitting Damon Hill.
Edit 1994 sorry he took him out in Austraila

Its racing, its the way it is.

A friend of mine reminded me of this earlier.

Senna was just leading the championship on points to Prost but if Prost won the race he'd over take Senna and win the championship.

Senna drove them both off on the first corner. Prost therefore didn't finish and Senna won the Championship.

There have been hundreds of incidents,so that's why i think its wrong to point out Micheal.

Thanks.

He has donated 1.5 million Euros to the organization Additionally, he paid for the construction of a school for poor children and for area improvements in Dakar, Senegal. He supports a hospital for child victims of war in Sarajevo, which specialises in caring for amputees. In Lima, Peru he funded the "Palace for the Poor", a centre for helping homeless street children obtain an education, clothing, food, medical attention, and shelter. He stated his interest in these various efforts was piqued both by his love for children and the fact that these causes had received little attention. While an exact figure for the amount of money he has donated throughout his life is unknown, it is known that in his last four years as a driver, he donated at least $50 million.

and he donates MOST of the money he earns from Mercedes.

Still a ruddy dirty German to you?

Irvine would have won the title long before schumacher,if the team hadnt come out with only 3 wheels in the last pit stop of the last round,i wonder why that was!
