Hayne's Manual for RC
 

Matt Benfield has written a Hayne's manual for RC cars. I had a look at it at Oswestry and it's very well done!!! I will be buying a copy or 2, as I star in it!!!!

It comes out this week, a great book for any RC driver:thumbsup:

I've also seen it and apart from one or two scary pictures of MCDC Matt's done a really good job!
And yes I am biased,Matt having used several of my pictures, my car's and Eden Park Raceway but it's still a colourful, well presented and handy reference guide with a very comprehensive glossary!

Even the likes DC may learn something!

Hi all

Yes it is true. Lots of hard work, late nights and excellent support from a number of friends and family got it to the printers in late August last year - and you think magazine publishing deadlines are long...

Over 300 images and some 60000 words I think although we added a chapter and an index later on.

I will bring some copies to Talywain if anyone would like to have a look.
It is designed to cover all aspects of RC from beginners upwards so please be aware oople' ets that the content reflects this.

Hope you have a welsh one then :):)

I do think this book will be a big help for a lot of people giving all the newbie questions we have on oople and other forums.

Do you want to translate one then, Millzy?

I couldn’t but we do have a translation department in work.

But it wasn’t published by us so I doubt they would do it

i did hear a rumour that mcdc was once in rc car action magazine
from a world champs somewhere or other but you know what these rumour mills are like for legends of his status:woot::woot::woot:
