1/10 Electric at stoke nitro. 12 minute finals!
 

Hi. Been on one of the other forums and stoke nitro club are starting a 2wd electric class.
The track looks great and they are running 12 minute finals.
Would anyone be worried about their electrics lasting the 12 minutes?
Im quite confident, i get closer to 20 minutes when running at the stoke track at park hall.
Others are a bit concerned they will be cooking their speedo or motor.
Its a really big track, surely it wont be that hard on the electrics? Ive been running a 10.5 in my 2wd, but i will be using my 6.5 on this track i think.
Any advice/opinion welcome.
First meeting is 16 september.

i wouldnt be worried
i quite often go out in practice and do 35 odd minutes and the lipo cut out still hasnt come in.

I dont see why electric is still stuck doing stupid 5 minute runs

Get 'em to do a vintage meeting as I'd be interested in giving the Cobrat
a work out,though I think at the end of twelve minutes I'd be running behind
pushing it :lol:.

Seriously though,I wondered if Stoke Nitro would ever realise that they
were a "minority" club and that 1/10th is the way forward for most racers.
