Kyham screen house or screen dome, both great, very similar. Try and buy last years model, will be about 1/2 price.
Mines takes about 2 mins to put up, and perhaps another 2 to peg out on my own. Have tried loads of gazebos but the kyhams easily outlast most others Fully rainproof, wind proof and has a door on each side and mesh doors to let air in if it's too hot Hth |
I didn't know pop-up tents were available that big... will have to keep my eye out for one to see if it is as good as it looks in the picture.

Popular with lots of rally x racers
|
Yes either a pop up tent from decathlon or get a day room tent.
There are many on eBay for about £100 and there will be plenty deals at moment with the camping session ending soon. |
khyam all the way over the last 10 years weve had probably every tent pop up and gazebo you can think of, khyam is buy far the best
|
those popup tents are great; I got mine from decathlon in the sale and it was less than £70...
only problem is when the wind gets up, they have very little structural rigidity so are inclined to collapse... |
got a khyam :-)
I managed to buy one, I got the khyam utility tent as its big enough for me and my 8yr old son to pit in, 1 and a half metres by 2 metres and over 2 metres standing room, and its a quick erect system, and a bargain at £47 posted,

utility tent i purchased
this is the utility tent i purchased and its a perfect size for my son and myself to pit inside,
well happy with it, especially for £47 posted, http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8455/7...c69fe76f1b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8295/7...a3ef5d6156.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8451/7...87ff627f78.jpg |
Is that tent on the Khyam site? I couldn't find it.
|
Not anymore buddy, they been discontinued, shame really cos they were perfect for racing, they do a utility tent but that's a "poled" one, which are great but the pop up ones were the dogs danglies!

I use a Quechua base seconds tent. Takes literally 30 seconds to pop up - 2 mins max to extend the 'porch' and peg it down. You can also link onto friends with the same tent to make 1 larger area.
I use the 4.1 version if I'm camping as it has a 4 man sleeping area attached to the size which is a palace for 2 people with loads of space for bags, etc leaving the larger living area free for pitting. I paid £85 for my original and £100 for the 4.1 which also comes with a ground sheet. |
