X2C Front axle

Hi

Just got myself a x2c and i wanted to convert the front axles (hex type) to accept associated (bearing type) front wheels.
Has anyone done this? Will parts from another car fit, losi xxcr, associated b4 etc.

Thanks

Steve

Cheapest way of doing this is to use the Yokomo B-Max2 parts B2-010FI & B2-415S.

The B4 front axles fit and work well and means the X2 will be 'BRCA' legal. You will need the B4 'C' hubs aswell.
Also the schumacher front axles also fit.

Cheers
Stef

Should of said Steve. I have the conversion parts somewhere as I run mainly hex type wheels from the kyosho. Lol
You can run pin drive on the rear as well. You can use the standard driveshaft but have to be very careful not to overtighten and you can buy the pin conversion driveshafts but there about £20.

As for other parts. A lot of different shocks are possible, you can run tamiya and associated parts in the slipper and diffs as well I believe. Can't remember if there's anything else but I'm sure things are possible.

I've converted the rears to pin already. i found some yokomo bits to fit. They don't bind up when i do the nut up real tight either. :D sorted.

it's just the fronts. I've just ordered some b4 bits that should do the trick nicely
