Well spotted. My guess is it's just something that particular driver (Satoshi??) 'tried out' since this car is also using JConcepts wheels etc.

Yep, and it looks like the 501x has the Jconcepts rulux wheels also.

Is it just the arms reversed and move the shocks to the rear of the stay?
Does it take more than that? What are the benifits?
