You dont fancy giving out your secrets away over the interweb then :eh?::lol:. I might bring it, depends if I've filled any of it with oil to put it all back together again. It's in bits down to the screws.:lol::lol:

Dan your car is more than pretty dialed, more like mega dialed!!.

My 410 has 10,000 front and rear diff oil,40 oil front shock oil and 35 rear shock oil. Standard kit springs. This set up works well for me,not oversteering and little grip rolls!(with schumacher yellow spikes front and rear)
My car goes well when not thermaling and last meeting I had randem loss then of power then full power the next corner!.

Have got new cells today so hopefully the power situation will be resolved!(suspect one of the cells in the lipo is faulty as couldn't balance charge and had to straight charge)

Can I ask what firmware people are using on their speed passion speedos as I have 428 mod and suspect that there is a later version?.

Your right Mark what works for 1 doesn't always work for another, like you say yours works for you, but it's a good starting point.

Can't help on speed passion as have not run one for a while now.

Mark,

Charge the each LIPO individually, then connect back as a pair and do a storage charge and then a balance charge. Should get things back in order.

Lionel 5000 &2000 respectively in the diffs
shocks
front 27.5
rear 30 losi oils but running tapered pistons its not the car but me that lets the setup down

Crazy L 30-08-2012 08:11 PM

Thanks guys. I have 5 and 2k diff oils in mother hubbards cupboard of rc stuff. Just gotta make a choice on shock oils. Funny Chris, most people have been using a thicker oil in their front shocks, how come you have gone the other way with thicker in the rear?

Oh yeah, thank you for the je code mate.

hotrodchris 30-08-2012 10:14 PM

The way i have the tapered pistons set and rightly or wrongly i like a soft front end!

Before the wise cracks start the car that is!:p
