Can you post some pics, better idea what's going on? :)

What tranny do you use ?

On the KO Universe, there are two settings. Ones called steering travel. The other is steering balance. You can adjust these until you get full travel in both locks.

Yes I have the KO3 and my steering balance is on 100% Both ways which I have never had on any other car and my steering travel is on 150
If someone could tell me how to post pictures I will tomorrow

Are you using an aftermarket servo horn or steering rack ?

Does the outside wheel get to full lock ?

nicVEGAchildJR 28-08-2012 11:42 AM

TD servo horn and exotec rack
Will try plastic rack and see then

Do you get full lock with the servo disconnected?
It might help narrow down the issue before you refit the plastic rack.

With plastic rack it locks out fine so I will continue to use the plastic rack
Thanks for comments every1

Steering lock problem

When you say Exotek Steering Rack do you mean the Exotek Orange alloy steering cranks?

I've just fitted a pair and had to dremel the 3x6mm screws (704004, page 12 of manual) as they were catching the arms. Only by a small amount but enough to stop full traverse.

Will find out how they perform this weekend

nicVEGAchildJR 29-08-2012 10:38 PM

I have they orange steering rack not the steering cranks
