Orion R10 Downloads?
 

Hi Guys,

We stayed late on sunday and had a play around with the settings on the R10 ESC.

I'm running an R10 with the standard MOD software with my own adjustments. I'm running a stock 10.5 motor and Pip told me of some downloadable a 'stock' setup which would give me different paraminters and also increased timing features etc etc.

Does anyone know where I can find these?

I'm not an Orion expert but it may also be possible to run the HW Xerun V3 software.
I'm sure someone will know for sure.

You do have the programming box, right? You have to download the software, then you will have a choice between several programs. Indeed the stock program allows way more timing, which is good :thumbsup:

I don't think you can use HW V3 programs though.

Yes, I have the box. Just struggling 'what' to download for the best?

Run either 728 or 208 stock for 10.5t motors. :)

They are different stock firmwares you can upload onto the R10 when connected to a computer, i take it you have downloaded and installed the latest drivers etc for your pc from here: http://www.teamorion.com/vortex-r10-pro-downloads.html

All firmware options are on the last page tab when the software is running on your pc, just install the one you wish to use.:)

Ah right, so download the latest drivers and stick them on the ESC, then I have more options to play with? Correct?

Install the relevant pc software for your orion speedo from the link provided, then when the software is running connect your programming box via usb and plug in programming box to speedo and switch on. then the software will show all current settings and options for your speedo. and a software tab were you can update the speedos firmware etc. as per pic below.

I have run 728stock before with good effect on 10.5 and 13.5's in touring cars

Think mines gone up the swanny!. Will not connect to the software and now has blanked out reading!. Does the same when connected direct to the ESC too :cry::cry::cry:

Looks like the software didnt flash over properly so after a few more attemps we're cooking on gas :thumbsup:. The stock programme is withn the software download, which it didnt make clear and I didnt know!

Also ammended my first post as it read wrong with regards to not believing Pip :) which wasnt the case.

Dudders have found that you have to send the update to the esc twice to be able to connect without a pc?

So what software is everyone running on there r10s?

And a good speedo setup on a 4wd 6.5 motor at TORCH?
