Please help, my ZX-5 is driving like a bad thing
 

I have been racing 8 scale for a few years now, so i know how a well setup buggy should feel.

Anyway, i cant seem to get any confidence at all with the zx5. The rear doesnt seem to have any traction at all, yet the steering is not great either, i really have to feather the throttle and even then i cant drive with any authority.

I have pretty much done the stock setup as per the book.
but i have used short camber links in the front and the rear. (using inner holes on the bulkhead and hubs, and no rear sway bar)

i'm using holeshots all round, which seems to be the go at my track

any advice appreciated, on where to go from the book setup. cheers

dirt track. gets a little bit of water during the day, makes the fine dirt fluffy like snow.

agreed should read my zx5 is hanlind in a poor fashion

i think i found my problem.

i had some PN alu steering knuckles on them.

Tonite i thought i'd change the hub carriers to 10deg to get more stability.

then i notice the knuckle was bent, where the steering tie rods goes (like around 5 degrees :eek: )

definitly not worth the $30 price tag on them.
for that price you would of thought some 5050 T6 would be in order. :mad: :mad: :mad:

i hope the rest of the $200 Aluminuim parts i have on it is not a dud aswell :mad: :mad: :mad:
