Low Profile Cut Staggers on Team C Wheels

Am i missing something or do i need to trim the rib on the tyres to mount these? i know i need to cut off the inner of the wheel but they still wont mount right :(

They don't mount 'right' on many wheels. On the Kyosho and Cougar wheels they sit differently to what spikes and pins do. They don't mount flush to the rims in the same way, but they seem to work fine once glued.

Mine fitted ok. Maybe the tyres have some moulding flash on the edge of the bead? Try measuring the bead and the gap in between the wheel flanges.

anyone got any pics?

For me it's nothing to do with moulding flash. The square edge of the tyre that sits inside the rim fits perfectly, the the tyre wall doesn't sit flush to the lip of the rim though. The wheels make all the difference as AE wheels fit the Cougar I drive and the tyres fit the AE wheels better as the rims are a few mm bigger in diameter.

They fitted on mine ok too but didnt like them so took them off and fitted mini spikes. I never glue my front tyres on as its not neccesary. They dont come off on their own.

Um, depends how much grip they have.... have popped a mini spike off the front of a B4.1 before now. Only once tho!

I had the same problem, they seem a little too large in diameter to fit tight to the wheel, plus they are not wide enough to go over the full rim.

You can cut the inside part of the rim off if you want but I left mine on, just glue them on and they will stay on, then if you ever want the wheel for use with normal minispikes etc you can use it again.

I don't know why they are a little large on diameter but if you glue them on it doesn't seem to matter, apart from looking a little wobbly when you spin the wheep by hand.
