I have a gen2 vega shell.

You can have it for £15 posted, or £35 painted?

Lee Martin is running with the Proline Losi 22 rear motor Bulldog shell. It looks very good on the car but obviously you need to fit a spur cover which is not as straight forward to seal as a centro for example due to the shape of the motor plate. The Gen 2 Vega body has grown on me though....certainly a huge improvement on the original!!:wtf:

There is no web site, only ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/haskins200...id=p4340.l2562

Here's a link to the new RB5 Vega shell

I'm using a centro Proline bull dog and using the gear cover, it's off at the paint shop at the moment but I'll post up some pics when it's back.

Yeah please do
I had assumed from pictures of the Centro shell that it narrowed too quickly just behind the motor to fit Vega.....but it works ok?

MHeadling 24-08-2012 08:18 PM

Its not a 100% perfect fit but seen one on Matt Owens Vega and looked pretty good to me!

There are a few gaps towards the rear of the chassis line but should be ok.

Rayzerp 24-08-2012 08:24 PM

Sounds good.....Do people leave the gear cover open behind the spur gear?

MHeadling 24-08-2012 08:48 PM

Lee has a lexan plate made up but seen some Vega RB5 using machined out motor plate over the top.

There is a thread done by jackel trader on how to do it

I prefer the standard centro shell shape and have just got a new one all painted up. Will it fit the Gen2 B4.1 vega??!??

Cheers Matt.
Sounds good, is it just at the rear of the shell that needs adjustment around the gear cover area?

No probs!

That's the one mate, and/maybe a minor cut at the front end (2mm tops) as my steering links caught the shell

Cheeky spy shot of Team Xtreme's own Will Johnson's 201 Vega gen 2 with the new shell on, looks ace!:)
