Any Vauxhall techs out there?
 

Recently purchased a astra 1.6 sxi on a 51 plate
When i turn sharp left at slow speed the oil light is coming on, doesn't happen when i turn right :confused:, have checked oil level & it is full
Any ideas guys? am thinking oil pressure switch maybe?
Appreciate any advice

just asked a vaux tech i know, id check the wiring make sure in not moving and shorting the switch

Nope sensor is not loose

Check the harness, make sure its not pulling tight against anything and rubbing or pulling on a connector.

do these have a level sensor in sump too ?

Kash is usually the man to talk to about anything vauxhall
I'd be surprised if he can't help u out.
