My computer is being naughty
 
For soem reason turned my pc on this morning logged on and all my personal settings are gone my oOple screensaver isnt there all the icons are no longer on my desktop my MSN has gone, all my quick links off firefox has gone my home page is back to normal firefox start up. Im still an admin and my picture when i log in is still the same.

Anyway i can get it back?

Sounds as though your profile may be corrupt, can you browse back to it? - Right Click start button, then click explore, you should then see your profile and should be able to copy the contents back.

could be something to do with the new sp3 update done buy microsoft over night

If anything isn't showing up which should be after the copy then it may be in a hidden file: i.e. local settings.

Got most of the important stuff back now so all sorted.

this happened to my pc recently and after a few days it updated again and everything went back to normal :)

I lost all my bookmarks after a windows update too. Just added them again.
